We are celebrating Earth Day this spring by participating in the 14th Annual Neighborhood Forest free tree program, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids every Earth Day. Registration for a tree begins in February 2023. Please continue to monitor the Milton Library events page for registration details.
Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has reached over 100,000 families and planted over 50,000 (mostly urban and residential) trees through the hands of children and parents across North America.
Last year the Milton Library handed out 78 trees to children in 2022 and we have set a goal of 100 for 2023. We have invited other Fulton County Library Branches to participate with us this year in a friendly competition - help us meet our goal of 100 trees to be planted in our community!
Please fill out the online registration form on the Neighborhood Forest webpage once it has opened to the public. We'll post the link once it opens to the public.
Trees will be delivered to the Milton Branch between April 22-30, 203. Planting instructions and species information will be emailed a few days prior to the trees arriving.
