Intro to Stop-Motion Workshop with ASIFA South

Description

The “Introduction to Stop-Motion Animation Workshop'' will lead ten participants between the ages of thirteen to eighteen through the complete animation production process in five days. Participants should plan on attending all five sessions. Students will receive hands-on guidance from experienced stop-motion animators, teaching industry essential skills related to communication and teamwork. Upon completing an animated short, students will leave the workshop with an invaluable addition to their portfolio, in addition to a variety of skills developed through the program.

ASIFA-South is the only Animation Organization representing South Eastern US officially with UNESCO affiliated ASIFA International Animated Film Association. Headquartered in Atlanta, our nonprofit organization represent the central communication hub between international and US-based chapters. Our goal is to foster and unite the animation community locally and globally to promote artists and the art of animation through communication and collaboration.
