One Book One Read: A Conversation with Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray about the 'Personal Librarian'

Thank you for registering for the One Book, One Read author talk this Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Central Library in downtown Atlanta. A few notes for guests visiting the Central Library:

  1. Parking arrangements have been made for visitors to the Central Library on Saturday, September 30th. A discounted rate of $10 will be available for guests of the One Book, One Read author talk. Please bring your parking ticket inside so the Library staff can validate your ticket. Parking is located at 100 Peachtree, located at the corner of Fairlie Street and Williams Street.
  2. If you registered for the program but can no longer attend, please visit the registration link and cancel your registration. We have an extensive waitlist for this program and want to be sure we include as many library patrons as possible.
  3. There will be an opportunity to have your book signed by the authors, immediately following the author discussion. A Cappella Books will be managing the sale of books during the program and will have "The Personal Librarian" and "The First Ladies" available for purchase during the event.

PLEASE NOTE:  While the auditorium is full, additional seating is available with a live screening of the event along with the opportunity to meet the authors at the book signing.  Please join the waitlist to ensure your space in the remote seating lounge at the Central Library.  

The Fulton County Library System is pleased to announce the title for the 2nd Annual, One Book, One Read a county-wide book club with the aim of getting as many people across Fulton County reading, talking about, and engaging with the same book. The goal is to promote conversations, community building, and literacy all while having fun with your friends, family, and neighbors.

Fulco Library, with support from the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation, is pleased to share a special visit with the authors of the Personal Librarian, Marie Benedict, and Victoria Christopher Murray, on Saturday, September 30th at the Central Library in downtown Atlanta. Both authors will be on hand to discuss the book, answer audience questions, and participate in the book signing following the talk. Books will be available for purchase through ACapella Books during the event.
