Are you interested in becoming a library volunteer? Apply to join our volunteer team! Sign up today and join us at our Volunteer Orientations at the Milton Library to learn more about the library and how you can help us serve our communities.

Duties include shelving, searching for books on specialized lists, and various other opportunities when available (craft preparation, program assistance, etc.).

A volunteer application must be completed and approved by the Volunteer Office prior to the orientation date. 

Youths age 13-18 must print, complete, and return an application to the branch or email it to vol.services@fultoncountyga.gov; adults 18 years old+ can complete the application directly online. For youths younger than 13 please contact the Volunteer Office (404-613-0125) or the Milton Library before submitting an application.

Orientations last around 30 to 45 minutes and include a tour, an introduction to staff, and a brief outline of what it's like to volunteer at the library. Please note orientation spots and volunteer shifts are based on the needs of the individual branches.
