The discussion will reflect on the panlist’s journeys as scholars, artists, and cultural critics navigating the intersections of gender, race, and rhythm. The discussion illuminates how their work moves Hip Hop scholarship from the margins to the center, amplifying the intellectual and creative labor of Black women in the field.
