Description

ock Ness has its monster, but so does Georgia and honestly it is more believable. Our Monster actually has access to the ocean. On the Altamaha River, there has been sightings of the Altamaha River Monster for centuries dating back to colonial Georgia.

Not to be outdone-locals on Pine Mountain in Georgia, say there is a 3ft long creature said to have the body of a shark but the head of a beaver, while sometimes it is described in reversed. It is said to live in lakes, and would swim to shallow water to attack children swimming in the water.

In Jackson and Barrow County, locals have spotted a black demon-like dog the size of a horse that protect a mud volcano called the Nodoroc Site. Local legends say the place was used by the Creeks to execute criminals and then throw the corpses into the bog. Nodoroc is purportedly a Creek word meaning “gateway to hell,”

As always, you decide if each is-fact or fiction?
