This two-hour, hands-on media workshop hosted by The Bluest Space empowers youth ages 10 -16 to explore issues that matter to them and use film as a tool for social awareness and change. Participants examine local and global challenges, developing their voice as informed, responsible storytellers, guided by current cultural and global affairs.
Through guided discussion, skill-building exercises, and introductory filming techniques, students will produce short interviews, awareness campaigns, or PSA-style videos highlighting issues they are passionate about. The workshop emphasizes that media can be a powerful tool for advocacy, civic engagement, and making a positive impact in their communities.
Space is limited to 10 participants. Registration is first come, first served. Students who register after the first 10 spots are filled will receive priority placement for the next session.
