As the weather starts to warm up, the natural world springs into action, plants are blossoming, birds are migrating and traveling long distances, and insects are waking up from overwintering, buzzing back into our neighborhoods as temperatures rise and moisture returns.
In this hands-on Library Nature Lab, children and families will explore how care for place, simple actions, and shared responsibility can support wildlife during this busy season of movement and change. Together, we’ll take a closer look at how native plants, wildflowers, and thoughtfully designed urban habitats help birds and pollinators rest, refuel, and thrive.
