Description

Children are invited to celebrate Women’s History Month by sharing their favorite books about female heroes! This engaging after-school program encourages young readers to talk about stories that inspire them and the strong women and girls who make a difference in their worlds.

Participants are welcome to bring a favorite book featuring a woman hero and share what they love about the character. Children may also dress as their favorite heroine, whether from history, literature, or their imagination.

This program promotes reading, confidence, creativity, and appreciation for the powerful stories of women and girls.

What to Expect:

Book sharing and show-and-tell

Dress-up fun as favorite heroines

Short sharing circle to build confidence

Celebrate inspiring women through stories
