Description

D.E.A.R. Day: Drop Everything And Read!
Celebrating the Year of the Book
at the Hapeville Library

Get ready to pause the day and dive into a good book! Join us for D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read), a special reading time dedicated just for kids to relax, imagine, and enjoy the magic of books as we celebrate the Year of the Book.

During this program, children will:

  • Drop everything and enjoy quiet reading time
  • Explore a variety of fun and exciting books
  • Listen to a short read-aloud story
  • Share what they’re reading (optional)

Kids are welcome to bring their favorite book or choose one from the library’s collection.

This program encourages a love of reading, builds literacy skills, and gives children a chance to unwind and enjoy stories at their own pace while celebrating the joy and importance of books.

Take a break. Open a book. Let the adventure begin!
