Born and raised in Wellfleet, MA, Cynthia Blakeley is a first-generation college graduate who now lives and gardens in Decatur, GA, where she writes creative nonfiction, works as a freelance editor, and teaches courses at Emory University on memory and memoir, dream theories, and literature. She has been interviewed on public radio and in the Boston Globe and Wall Street Journal, and her creative nonfiction has appeared in Cape Cod Voice, HerStry, and Dreamers Magazine.
