This list showcases all 47 delightful issues of the hit comic book series by Brandon Montclare. Based on the success of this series, Disney launched an animated show of the same name with some notable differences. Don't expect the same wacky adventures in the television show to be in the comics, but do enjoy a great all-ages read in the books listed below. Previous to this century, Devil Dinosaur was teamed up with Moon-Boy, a juvenile ape-like humanoid. Both Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy were creations of Jack Kirby, and had their origins in an alternate Earth where dinosaurs still roamed. Neither the original run of Devil Dinosaur, nor the run of Fallen Angels (Devil Dinosaur's 1980's superhero team-up title) are available for libraries to license in eBook format at the time of list publication. Outside of his own title and Fallen Angels, Devil Dinosaur's appearances in Marvel comics were limited to guest spots in other titles as he helped further the plot lines of other heroes until this recent series. As of 2015, Devil Dinosaur is the companion of Lunella Lafayette, one of the smartest superheroes in the Marvel Comic Universe. In a nod to DD's previous companion, Lunella calls herself Moon Girl when she gears up to fight crime with her bright red companion.
