Family Stories and Recipes

Without fail, there is typically one thing that will appear at every gathering, whether big or small - food. Food is a great reason to come together with family and friends to share stories, eat good food and to connect. These gatherings also offer attendees an opportunity to learn more about each other and to reminisce about the past. In some cases, some of the upcoming gatherings during the summer will feature foods that carry with a family story. As we enter into the time of family reunions and holiday gatherings, remember to taste a bit of your family's history and share the history of the family. The books featured in this list offers a collection of books that speak to the sharing of history through the food we prepare.
